U.S. passports are issued by the Passport Office of the U.S. Department of State. Passport information and applications may be obtained at U.S. Postal Service offices.

Effective January 23, 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document, or an Alien Registration Card, Form I-551, if applicable. • For naturalized citizens, a previous year passport or naturalization certificate is required.
  • All passport applicants must furnish two identifiable photos (2" x 2") taken at a professional photography studio.
  • A valid drivers license and social security number is required. (Social security numbers are also required for children).
  • Children 14 years of age and not yet 18 must make a personal appearance with a parent or legal guardian. A parent's or guardian's identification is used for minors.
