Public Sale of Licensee Lists

Public Sales is a unit of the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs that sells licensee lists to the public for a charge. The most frequent requests are for licensees who are chiropractors, security guards, registered nurses, and cosmetologists. No license verification of the individual licensee is available.
Lists can be drawn up based on license type by specific (county, city, or designated zip code) geographical area. Requests may be made in writing, by telephone or in person. Same day service is not available.
The price of the list is based on two types:
Standard Rate: $235
Customized Rate: $245 for both Public and Government
Additional charge for info on "adhesive labels" at 3 cents per label plus the above rate.
