Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is an independent, not-for-profit product safety testing and certification organization. They have tested products for public safety for more than a century. Provides information on products and companies requiring UL seals. Product and home safety pamphlets available upon request.
There are four other divisions in the United States (IL, NY, NC, and WA) that provide customer services and six lab and testing facilities.
