Price Fixing
From Consumer Wiki
|
The Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General has statutory authority to act in cases of price fixing. It is considered an antitrust violation. Complaints of vertical or horizontal price fixing have to require conspiracy among competitors to artificially keep prices at a certain level. Consumers may report prize-fixing concerns, but the Office of the Attorney General will not offer assistance directly.
