The US Postal service has a Postal Service Consumer Affairs and Claims Office in each Post Office branch. Consumers must call the 800 number to be transferred to their local Postal Consumer Affairs and Claims Office. COMPLAINT JURISDICTION:

Mail Order Complaints: The United States Postal Service has jurisdiction over numerous transactions conducted through the mail. If a consumer suspects that they have been a victim of mail fraud or experienced difficulty when ordering merchandise or conducting business transactions through the mail, that person may contact their local post office.


To stop unwanted mailings of pornographic or sexually explicit mail, consumers may call the toll-free national number to request the following:

Postal Service Form 1500 (Application for Listing/Prohibitory Order). Filling out this form will remove the consumer name from mailing lists. Thirty days after a consumer's name has been added to the Postal Service Reference List, any mailer who sends the consumer sexually oriented advertisements may be subject to civil and criminal sanctions.</p>
