Photographers are not licensed or certified. There are no formal educational requirements for this occupation. An individual's photography experience is at the discretion of his or her employer.
If a consumer has a complaint with a photographer, they should contact the photographer's employer. In the case of a free-lance photographer, consumers should contact a mediation source such as the Better Business Bureau, Small Claims, or local Consumer Protection Agency.
