From Consumer Wiki
|
The California Department of Health Services, Food and Drug Branch, should be notified of any products which expose children or adults to lead contamination, such as, lead discovered in candy imported from Mexico. The lead leaches from the ink used for the labeling on the candy wrapper into the candy. This product has been sold door-to-door at apartment complexes.
Pregnant women should also be aware that cases of iron poisonings have occurred in pre or prenatal supplements prescribed by obstetricians for pregnant and nursing mothers.
