941-Small Claimes-Civil Issues

go back

Home inspectors are not licensed or regulated by any government agency in California. Most inspectors have some experience in construction, engineering, or architecture and are possibly licensed in one of these areas; however, anyone can be a home inspector. A “Certified” home inspector has been certified by an industry organization, not a government agency. If a complaint arises concerning a home inspector, the consumer must resort to civil resolution.
