The California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Guide Dogs for the Blind, licenses and regulates schools and persons in California responsible for training and supplying guide dogs for the blind. The board also oversees fund raising practices and offers advice and mediation services in cases of discrimination against guide dog users.
