Consumers who have problems with inaccurate price readings by grocery checkout scanners may contact their local County Weights and Measures office. Each county in the State of California has its own office.

The Department of Food and Agriculture has jurisdiction over each county's County Weights and Measures Office. See Weights and Measures (County) for county listings with addresses and phone numbers.
