The Department of Consumer Affairs, Board for Geologists and Geophysicists, examines and licenses geologists and geophysicists and certifies engineering geologists in California.

Deceit, misrepresentation, violation of a contract, fraud, incompetency,or negligence
Complaints outside jurisdiction:
Fees, complaints against engineers (Engineers are licensed by the Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors).
