DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHER

Sometimes referred to as "Ultrasound Technicians", Diagnostic Medical Sonographers use high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis. Sonographers are not licensed by any agency but require a competency-based certification.



The Society of Diagnotic Medical Sonographers offer Study Materials for certification. Pamphlets, brochures, etc. They do not certify.
