Credit Union Administration
From Consumer Wiki
The National Credit Union Administration examines and supervises federally chartered credit unions and insures the member accounts of federally chartered credit unions and most stated chartered credit unions.
Problems with credit unions and possible violations of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B), Truth in Lending Act (Regulation Z), Fair Credit Reporting Act, Electronic Fund Transfer Act (Regulation E), the Federal Credit Union Act, Federal Credit Union Bylaws, and the National Credit Union Administration Rules and Regulations. Consumer questions about account insurance should be directed to NCUA, unless the credit union is privately insured.
