The California Department of General Services (DGS) has jurisdiction over all contractual agreements between private businesses which sell or lease equipment, food, and other commodities to state offices or departments. These contracts include any services provided to any state entity. General Services does not contract for "service contracts" such as consulting or training. Individuals interested in contracting for service contracts should contact the State Contracts Register (within General Services) listed below.
