Many of the local consumer agencies listed below are able to provide consumer assistance for a variety of issues. If no county is listed, the consumer may have to resort to Small Claims Court, the Better Business Bureau, or a private attorney.

- Does not mediate landlord/tenant disputes.
- Mediates consumer and business disputes.
- Investigates business fraud.
- Provides referrals to other agencies.

- Provides landlord/tenant counseling and mediation.
- Offers assistance to renters who have experienced temporary financial setback repayment contract set up with landlord).
- Renters Assistance Program (RAP).
