Community service organizations provide assistance to citizens on the local level for such issues as homelessness, substance abuse, family violence, disability services, health care, legal and mediation services, mental health services, suicide prevention, youth and teen services, veteran services, senior services, and many other community needs.

Consumers should check the “Community Services” listings in their phone directories for a listing of community services in their area.

The California Care Network is designed to help California citizens find state-licensed health, social services, mental health, alcohol and other drug, disability and elder care services and facilities.
