Automobile (Warranty Sticker)
From Consumer Wiki
|
Since May 9, 1985, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has required a "Buyer's Guide" window sticker to be posted on used cars offered by dealers. The Buyers Guide must state whether the car is being sold "as is" or with a warranty. If a written warranty is included, the warranty terms must be described in the window sticker information, and a copy of the sticker must be attached to the purchase contract. Used car sticker information is considered warranty law.
