Automobile (Verifier)
From Consumer Wiki
|
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) requires that a person acting as a verifier must procure a vehicle verifier's permit and then secure a bond in the amount of $5,000, permitting the verifier to do business within the state of California. Automotive verifiers may work in registration services, auto dealerships, and in the insurance industry to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for titling documents.
