ATTORNEY/STATE BAR of CALIFORNIA
The California State Bar (Bar) examines and licenses attorneys (lawyers) and is part of the attorney disciplinary system of the California Supreme Court which processes complaints involving attorney misconduct. The Bar also sets standards for and conducts attorney-client fee arbitration in counties that do not have a local Bar Association.
The Bar does not have jurisdiction over complaints relating to; A Judge, court clerks, other court personnel, and laws that consumers find objectionable. The Bar does not provide lawyer referrals or legal advice.
