The California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Examiners in Veterinary Medicine (BEVM), licenses and regulates the Animal Health Technicians who assist veterinarians in veterinary hospitals and clinics. Individuals should contact the board for further information on licensed schools or licensing requirements.
