The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has jurisdiction over complaints or inquiries on portable amusement park equipment. DIR also assumes responsibility for ski lift and elevator safety requirements and complaints.
Local city or county offices have jurisdiction over permanent amusement park equipment in city or county parks.
