As of July 1, 2000 the Health Plan Program and the administration of the Knox-Knee Health Plan Act of 1975, as amended by the 1999 HMO reform legislation, has transferred to the new Department of Managed Health Care.

The Department of Managed Health Care regulates HMO's, and PPO's and can assist you when filing a complaint.
