Beverage Containers (Redemption and Recycling)

The California Department of Conservation, Division of Recycling, administers the California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act of 1986. The Recycling Division provides a number of services, including enforcement, auditing, recycling center locations, redemption and recycle rates as well as grant funding, technical assistance and education.
